Meet BAA 2.0 & Our New CEO

BAA launched in January 2025 to strengthen Black political engagement in the City of Oakland.

BAA 2.0 expands that mission through multi-local engagement across the Black Bay Area—including Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, and San Francisco counties.

The pillars remain the same, but the work deepens: advancing quality of life for Black communities throughout the region.

The best is yet to come.
